Hi, I’m Karie, founder and principal designer at House of Noir.
I’ve always been drawn to the art of living well. My design process is rooted in storytelling and style. It blends interiors, fashion, and inspiration from across the globe. With a background in design and a passion for history, I create spaces that are thoughtful, layered, and effortlessly elevated.
You’ll find my work infused with old-world charm, memorable details, and a balance of form and function. My approach is timeless but never boring, edited but never cold. I love interiors that feel collected, not decorated, and pieces that feel curated, not fleeting.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me wandering antique markets, planning my next trip, or putting together a look for a dinner party I’m hosting. I believe that beauty matters—and when you surround yourself with it, your whole life rises to meet it.
